It's not quite finished yet, needs a bit of tweaking.

It was just Ruth & I tonight.

My first Twiddleybitz Sample

I have just finished my first Twiddleybitz sample.
It is a new product - ATC Hinged Box

It was fun to make but gluing stuff together takes me a while.

I haven't made ATC's for ages.
have mixed feelings about making them
It is difficult for me to work on "small things"
I have no patience !!
When I am creating an ATC I have the
problem of when to stop adding stuff.
Also because they only take such a short time to make
it's like, is that it ???
Anyway here are another couple & am off to
make some more.
Got the bug now.

I had a visit from my friend Carmel on Friday.
She bought her daughter, Emma & grandson Ethan with her.
they came to pick up the book I made for their friends birthday.
Emma is starting her own business called Designed by Em.
She was very surprised at the lack of trendy clothes available for boys
so she is going to make her own.
I have bought some of her baby blankets they are beautifully made.
Little Ethan was a fabulous model.

Emma makes the little caps that Ethan has on. It has his initial on the front.

Wednesday Nights Art Journal Class 27th July 2011
We experimented with paints,tissue paper,stamps,crayons
perfect pearls,distress crackle paint.
Very messy but we all enjoyed it.

MOS Designs Reinker Box - In Denmark

How exciting !!
A while ago I sold some of our MOS Designs Storage Boxes to Linda who lives in Denmark.
I have just received an email from her with a link to her blog for pictures of the finished box, what an excellent job, well done.

G45 Curtain Call Gift Pocket

Last night in the Library Drawer Class we made a "Curtain Call Gift Pocket"
It is a Tim Holtz Kraft Glassine Pocket
we also used -
Tim Holtz Film Strip
MOS Designs Chipboard FilmStrip
Creative Imaginations Earth Sparkle Kit - we used the bronze foil
around the edges of the pocket.

Perfect to hold Theatre Tickets, Gift Cards etc.

Library Drawer Class

Last night's Library Drawer went well.
This week we created a Mini Folder to add to our collection.
I used all Jenni Bowlin papers - all of which are on sale at the moment - this time.
Love Jenni's stuff but don't use it enough, that has to change !!

Only have pics of mine because we used Glossy Accents & the girls couldn't finish their projects.

Le Cirque Album

Finally finished my Le Cirque Album including photos, yes, that's right I have actually put pics in this one !!!!
This is the one Graphic 45 girls taught at Creative Block.
I have gone off on mine own tangent of course, so is a bit different from the class one.
Hope you like it, I must say I am happy with it.

 On the front cover I have used Alcohol Ink, Red Pepper to colour the G45 Staples Metal Flower
Then I have covered it in Crackle Accents - looks great !!

MOS Designs Distress Ink Storage Box

I have found a design for another distress ink box "with legs"
that Michael had obviously designed but hadn't actually cut yet.
I cut it out & have put it together & it works.
Need some lessons in attaching hinges though ......
made bit of a mess drilling holes for the screws
but just glossy accented it up & that fixed that !!!!
