Wendy & I had a wonderful time in Brisbane at Creative Block.
Creative Block is a trade event for Retailers to have the opportunity to have classes with
various international designers & companies, & to learn more about their products.
It is run by Printblocks in Brisbane. Classes are run over 3 days so it is a massive event.
We were lucky enough to get into the 2 major classes -
Wendy in Teresa Collin's class & me in Graphic45
I cannot tell you how overwhelming it is to meet these people in person.
I felt like a teenager, in awe of the Graphic45 girls, Diane (mother)
& her daughters Aimee & Charee.
During the class Diane said she wanted a photo of us together so she could put it on their
Facebook page , & she did !! I am a little bit famous now ???
Such beautiful, unassuming & talented women. They have such a presence about them.
As you will see by the pictures, yes I was crying - surprise, surprise !!!
Diane is telling me here she is going to take me back to the USA with her - I said I'm packed & ready
but I don't think she heard me cause she left without me !!!!
Next up -
Teresa Collins - what can I say -
This woman is amazing - so very natural, so beautiful & so easy to talk to.
Wendy loved Teresa's class & when she has finished the album I will post pictures.
Classes will be available shortly.
This is Jenny from Clearsnap -
So very glad I did this class. Jenny is an awesome teacher
I could have stayed in her classes all day.
We used Smooch inks (I have sold tons of these but never user them before)
The technique Jenny showed us was fabulous - a project will be on the way real soon,
I love them now !!!
As we finish up the projects we did in classes I will post pictures.
Have been flat out with orders etc since I got back but hope to get my
Graphic45 Le Cirque Album finished today.
If you would like to see some more pictures from Brisbane & the
awesome house we stayed in click here
