Guest Artist Teresa Abajo

Hi Everybody
I am very excited to introduce you to my very first guest artist, Teresa Abajo.
Teresa's work has been published many times & is also on many design teams.

Hi lovely crafty people! Teresa here with a card using the very awesome Sweetmoves image from Stampotique:

There are a few very simple steps involved - here goes!

I tore a few strips of old book page and adhered them to a piece of cardstock with Tombow glue.

Then I spread little dollops of Dina Wakely paints with the edge of a credit card until the whole piece was covered. I allowed each layer to dry in between, so that the paints wouldn't mix to create a big brown mess:

Once that was thoroughly dry, I applied some Whipped Spackle through a Stencil Girl stencil (Fade Horizontal):

While that was drying, I stamped, coloured and fussy cut Sweetmoves:

I then stamped the same image onto my background, and glued the cut out right over the top.

I added some black shading around the image with a Generals Graphite Pencil and a water brush:

The border was done by drawing a white line around the piece with a paint marker, outlining it with a black marker:

 then drawing in some dividing lines and colouring in between them:

The piece was then stuck to the front of a card. The sentiment was computer generated, stuck onto scraps of chipboard, inked with Black Soot ink and adhered to finish the card:
