My Mothers Journey

I have started an album for my mother.
It is called My Mothers Journey.
Between my sisters & I we will try & make our journals to tell her life story.
We each have different letters, pictures,treasures & stories that we must put together
for the grand children & great grand children.
I never thought I would ever be without my mother but she went so quietly, suddenly.
I had always planned to have Mums story done for her to see but..
If you still have your parents don't wait to document their stories do it now !!
And we must also do a journal of our own lives.
Do your children know where you went to school, your best friend in high school, etc....
Scrapbooking is not just about pictures of our children.
It is also about leaving a legacy for the following generations that we will never know to have a little bit of insight into how we grew up, our likes & dislikes.
So start a journal for yourself, just make pocket pages & stick handwritten notes in them.
It is important.
