Holiday Tutorial from Teresa Abajo

Hope everyone had a fab Easter.
Take care driving home if you are away.
When you do get home you have to have a go at this new tutorial from our fav local artist
Teresa Abajo.
Thanks so much Teresa xx

Hi folks! Teresa here with the results of a play date with my new Dylusions paints:

Here's how it happened:

I created a quick and easy background by scraping very small amounts of paint across my piece of Bristol card. I used  Lemon Zest and Squeezed Orange:

Then I applied a thin layer of Bubblegum Pink, and while it was wet, I laid the stencil over it and wiped the paint off with a baby wipe.

Here it is as soon as the stencil is pulled off:

I dried that off then stamped one of the images from the Dina Wakley Silhouetted Women set (out of stock at the moment, but just drop Karen an email and she can order it in for you).

I then added some ink spatter with Dylusions White Linen and Black Marble sprays, and outlined the image with black and white journaling pens:

I stamped Stampotique's Be Your Own Superhero stamp  and added doodling to the words and the border of the card:

There you go - some good clean fun in a one layer card!

Thanks for looking!
